2. What this website does not do
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, tracking or advertising, and embeds no content from other services. Fonts and all other files come from this website itself. Your browser contacts no other server unless you use an AI generator or follow a link to another website.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, GitHub processes technical access data, including your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and information about your browser, in order to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering a reliable and secure website). 4. Storage in your browser
The AI page stores two values in your browser (shimti.ai.firstUse and shimti.ai.usedSeconds) that count how much of the shared free AI budget you have used. The website may also keep a copy of its own files in your browser so pages load faster and work offline. This information stays on your device and is never sent to me. You can delete it at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser. Legal basis: § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary to provide the service you use).
5. AI generators
The generators on the AI page run on Hugging Face Spaces in my account with Hugging Face SAS, 9 rue des Colonnes, 75002 Paris, France. Only when you start a generation is the photo, text or other input you provide sent to Hugging Face, together with technical data such as your IP address, to create the result. Hugging Face states that its servers are located in the United States, so your input may be processed there. I do not store your inputs or results; Hugging Face may keep uploaded files temporarily while processing them. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the generation you request). 6. Contacting me by email
The contact page prepares an email in your own email program; the website itself sends nothing. When you send an email, your address and message reach me through Gmail, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may also process data in the USA and participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. I use your message only to answer and handle your inquiry, and delete it when it is no longer needed unless the law requires me to keep it. 7. Links to other websites
Links to social networks and marketplaces are ordinary links. Those websites receive data about you only after you click, and their own privacy policies apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). To use these rights, email me.
